It makes no difference if it is a Colorado ski resort or a Caribbean beach, as long as you can just relax. The good news for those of you that haven’t got any plans yet is that, even with two days left until Christmas, you still got time to book something.  Just to give you a heads up, here are some great last minute travel package deals that the Priceline Negotiator has prepared for you:

If a ski trip is what you’ve got I mind, then probably you would like to take advantage of the 3-night vacation package in Vail, Colorado, providing 4.5-star accommodation for as little as $356 per night.  Or you could just spend your nights in a Denver 4-star hotel, and be charged around $79 per night (this great bargain is only valid by the end of this week). The site offers some great rates for luxury hotels, in some of the coolest touristic spots around the globe.  Just as an example, a night in a New York 4-diamond hotel like the ‘Crown Plaza Times Square’ can cost you only $179.10 (the site can also display prices in several currencies).

You could as well choose to go to London or Dubai and enjoy the benefits of an trendy, upscale hotel for a relatively modest sum of money. A night staying in Park Lanes Mews Hotel in London can go down to $107.29, while the 5-diamond, state of the art Jebel Ali hotel in Dubal will charge  you and incredible $122.58 per night if you book it now. With all families and outdoor lovers moving around from place to place, Dollar has decided to offer special deals for the mid-size to SUV rentals. Hence, if you decide to rent a mid-size car by the 3rd of February 2010, you can pay as little as $31.99 per day. This price is available for a selected number of cities across the US and applies for a minimum of 5-days rental period. If you need some extra space for the dog, the ski gear or a larger family, you can also rent a minivan starting at $51.99 per day (same terms and conditions as in the previous offer apply).

If you want to make somebody a surprise this weekend or just fly out of the city for a short vacation, Orbitz.com has prepared some special last-minute deals for you. Depending on your destination and departure/arrival hours, you can book an online roundtrip flight for prices starting at 139$.

The best deal we found so far is the two-way flight from Phoenix to Las Vegas, that you can book for as little as $139. If you want to take a longer flight, like, let’s say, from Philadelphia to Orlando or Houston to Denver, you will have to take around $225 out of your pocket. These rates are available for about 40 US cities and include all taxes (all listed deals are valid for an economy class seat). expedia_logoWith winter claiming its rights and Christmas knocking at our doors, it’s time we forgot about our worries and head for some hot destinations. And by hot I don’t mean just literally hot (like in Mexican beaches or the Bahamas) but also some important touristic hot-spots like Las Vegas, New York City or Orlando. For this kind of destinations, Expedia has come out with some really special hotel rates, valid within the next few days.

Hence, you can book online a Manhattan hotel for as low as $52 per night (offer is valid till December 28th). If you want to take your family to Orlando’s beaches, a night at the hotel can cost you only $40 pp.  There are also some really awesome last minute hotel deals available, especially for the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas. Staying in a Vegas Hotel between December 17th and December 30th can take around $39 out of your pocket (but you can also have the magnificent Bellagio for only $129 a night). It is quite amazing what you can get these days with a little research! Just to give you an example, a weekend cruise in the Bahamas aboard a Celebrity Cruise ship can go as low as $149 (and you also get $50 credit onboard). If you want to take a swim in the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea, there are numerous options to choose from. One would be to take an all-inclusive vacation package in Carbo for the modest amount of $499. Or to pay around 75% per night in a Jamaican all inclusive resort.

If you prefer big cities to exotic beaches, no problem: you can stay in London for 6 nights and spend only $597, including the plane ticket. Low rates also apply for big city hotels:  according to Travelzoo, this week you can book a room in San Francisco, Las Vegas or Austin with less than 100$ and enjoy the all privileges of a top rated hotel.

Avis_Rent_a_Car2For the upcoming winter holiday season, Avis Rental Cars has prepared a series of interesting offers, ranging from free navigation systems to complimentary upgrades.  If you’re not sure where you’re going or you are ready to adventure yourself into the great unknown, Avis has come up with a great solution: booking a car for the weekend (at least three days) gets you a free GPS. A similar thing applies for weekdays: rent a car for at least 5 consecutive days and you Avis lets you use the navigation system for free for two days.

For those inhabitants of the far west who decided to head south within the next weeks, Avis decided to offer special prices at one-way trips. Renting a subcompact car form Avis to take you from Washington to California can sum up to %390 a week.  Adding $100 more would take you from Oregon to Arizona.
