It’s not surprising that the Disney franchse has already extended to include cruisers as well, and it’s not surprising either that Disney Dream cruise ships are some of the most awesome cruise ships I’ve ever seen. The new Disney Dream cruise ship will be launched in 2011, and you can already start booking cruises. Like its sister ship Disney Fantasy, Disney Dream will resemble an 1930’s style cruise ships, but only when it comes to atmosphere, obviously, because the amenities are as hi-tech as possible. There will be lots of spaces where families can spend time together, but you will also have the opportunity to relax on your own while your kids are safely tucked away in bed.
Some of the attractions include a watercoaster (a roller coaster-water slide combination), virtual potholes in the cabins, and some alluring restaurants (Enchanted Garden, Animator’s Palate, the Royal Palace and several cafes and adult-only bars). Kids will have the time of their lives because there are tons on activities and areas inspired directly from Disney’s most successful films, like Toy Story or Peter Pan. So you can drop your kids off, kick back and enjoy yourself at the Senses Spa & Salon, or have a drink at the Metro Pub.
