It has many big box shopping plazas including a Southpark Mall, which makes it a business city in the region.

The City of Moline is served by the Moline Quad City International Airport, which is considered to be the third busiest commercial international airport in the state of Illinois. This airport is situated on the southern most fringes of the city and south to the Rock River. This airport is owned and maintained by the Metropolitan Airport Authority and has a customs service, which helps in international outbound and inbound shipments. Cedar Rapids, Iowa CEDAR RAPIDS/IOWA CITY (CID) (73.0 miles) is another large airport located near the city, which you should opt for in case of an emergency.
